BellyGrowPro Privacy Policy

BellyGrowPro is built around a simple belief: your pregnancy is yours, and the details of it should stay with you.

The short version

BellyGrowPro has no servers of its own. Everything you track stays on your iPhone, and only ever leaves it to sync across your own devices through your own private iCloud. We can't see it. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and nothing is sold. The one outside service is Apple's App Store, used only for the single optional "tip".

What stays on your iPhone

Everything you enter in BellyGrowPro is stored in the app's own database on your device:

• ●Your pregnancy details, due date, and your baby's name
• ●Symptoms, mood, and weight you log
• ●Kick sessions and contraction timings
• ●Appointments, hospital-bag and birth-plan checklists, baby-name choices
• ●Bump photos, scans, milestone cards, and journal entries
• ●Your settings and preferences

Private iCloud sync

If you're signed into iCloud, BellyGrowPro syncs your data across your own Apple devices using Apple's private CloudKit database. This is the same iCloud that backs up the rest of your phone: the data lives in your personal iCloud account, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and is accessible only to you. BellyGrowPro (and its developer) cannot read it.

Partner sharing

If you choose to invite a partner, BellyGrowPro creates an Apple CloudKit share so the two of you can follow the same pregnancy. The shared information travels only between your iCloud account and the person you explicitly invite, through Apple's infrastructure. Nobody else — including us — can access it, and you can stop sharing at any time.

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, BellyGrowPro reads figures such as weight, heart rate, steps, sleep, blood pressure and blood glucose (including from a CGM) on your device only, to display them in the app. This data is never transmitted off your iPhone, never sent to us, and never used for advertising or shared with anyone. You can revoke access at any time in the iPhone's Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → BellyGrowPro. Health data is never used for any purpose other than showing it back to you.

The on-device "Ask" companion

The optional "Ask" companion answers general pregnancy questions using Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. It runs entirely on your iPhone — your questions, and the private context used to personalise the answer, never leave the device and are never sent to us, to Apple, or to any third party. It offers general information only and is not medical advice (see our Terms).

Third parties

BellyGrowPro embeds no analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs. There is no Firebase, Google Analytics, Meta SDK, TikTok SDK, Mixpanel, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar in the build.

The only third-party service is RevenueCat, used exclusively to process the optional "buy me a drink" tip by validating the App Store transaction. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase record and an app-generated identifier — never your pregnancy data, health data, name, or email. The optional tip (In-App Purchase)

BellyGrowPro is completely free. It offers a single, optional one-time tip processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. It unlocks nothing. We never see your payment information. Apple's privacy policy covers App Store purchases: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Notifications

Reminders (for appointments, kick counting, weekly updates) are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent through any server and contain no data that leaves your iPhone.

Children's privacy

BellyGrowPro is intended for expectant parents and their partners. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone of any age — because we do not collect data at all.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / Irish Data Protection Act)

Because BellyGrowPro does not collect your personal data, there is nothing held by us to access, export, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of your own copy:

• ●Delete everything on a device: use More → Reset journey inside the app, or delete the app, which removes its on-device data.
• ●Remove the iCloud copy: turn off BellyGrowPro in Settings → [your name] → iCloud, or delete the data from iCloud, and it is removed from Apple's private store for your account.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy — for example, if we add a feature that collects data — we will update the date at the top of this page, surface the change in the app, and require your explicit opt-in for any new data collection. We will not silently begin collecting data.
