BellyGrowPro Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the BellyGrowPro iOS application (the "App"). By downloading or using BellyGrowPro, you agree to them.

1. Not medical advice

BellyGrowPro provides general information to support your pregnancy. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional care. The content, reminders, baby-size estimates, and the on-device "Ask" companion are for general information and reassurance only.

Always follow your midwife, doctor, or maternity team, and contact them about anything that concerns you. If you think you or your baby may be unwell — for example heavy bleeding, severe pain, a bad headache, vision changes, reduced or changed baby movements, your waters breaking, or a high temperature — contact your maternity unit or emergency services straight away. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 or 999 in Ireland). Never rely on the App in place of professional judgement.

2. The App

BellyGrowPro is a pregnancy-tracking companion for iPhone. It is provided "as is" — a tool, not a service. You are responsible for the information you enter and how you use it.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use BellyGrowPro on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

You may not redistribute, resell, decompile, or reverse-engineer the App.

4. Free app and the optional tip

BellyGrowPro is completely free. There are no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no features locked behind payment.

The App offers a single optional, one-time tip ("buy me a drink") as a way to say thanks. It unlocks nothing and provides no additional functionality. It is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment information. Refunds for the tip are handled by Apple under their refund policy: https://support.apple.com/HT204084

5. Your data

Your pregnancy information stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud. How this works is described in our Privacy Policy: /bellygrowpro/privacy. You are responsible for maintaining access to your own Apple ID and iCloud account, which is where any synced copy of your data lives.

6. Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, you grant BellyGrowPro permission to read the health data you choose, on-device, solely to display it to you. You can withdraw this permission at any time in the iPhone's Settings. BellyGrowPro does not transmit, sell, or share Apple Health data.

7. Intellectual property

You own everything you enter in BellyGrowPro — your logs, photos, and journal. We claim no rights to your content.

The BellyGrowPro name, logo, written content, and design are owned by the developer. The App's source code remains the developer's property.

8. Disclaimers

BellyGrowPro is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of information. Baby-size comparisons and week-by-week content are general estimates and vary between pregnancies.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BellyGrowPro, including but not limited to loss of data, missed appointments or reminders, or any decision made in reliance on the App. Always confirm important information with your maternity team.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of BellyGrowPro is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using BellyGrowPro at any time by deleting the App, which removes its data from that device. You can also remove the iCloud copy from your Apple ID settings.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be surfaced in the App. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
