By using Focail, you agree to the terms below. They're short.

The app

Focail is provided as-is. We do our best to make sure the Irish is correct — every entry is An Caighdeán Oifigiúil spelling, the standard form used in Irish primary-school materials like Bua na Cainte and Séideán Sí — but Focail is not a substitute for a Gaeilgeoir teacher.

Subscriptions

Focail Premium is offered through Apple's App Store with the following plans:

• ●Monthly: 7 days free, then $2.99 per month, auto-renewing.
• ●Annual: 7 days free, then $19.99 per year, auto-renewing.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue at the price listed above unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of the 7-day free trial is forfeited when a paid subscription is purchased. Prices may vary by country, currency, and any applicable taxes.

You can manage or cancel at any time in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS. Refunds are handled by Apple — request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

Intellectual property

The app, the curated vocabulary, and the Pintín mascot are © Onliware. You can share screenshots and in-app share images freely on social media, with or without credit.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
