The Challenge
Irish tenants had no simple way to verify whether a rent increase was lawful under the Residential Tenancies Acts. Existing legal resources were dense, jargon-heavy, and required professional interpretation. The platform needed to make complex legislation accessible to anyone—instantly and for free.
The Execution
We built a clean, calculator-driven interface that distils Irish rental law into plain-language tools. Users can validate rent increases against the 2% annual cap, calculate required notice periods, and check deposit return rules—all without creating an account. A premium tier (FairRent Pro) adds legal letter templates and an RTB case builder for users who need to take action.
